Many believe that acupuncture is just for painful conditions, but it can do so much more.
In China,  where acupuncture has been used for thousands of years, it is successfully practiced, often  alongside Chinese herbal medicine and conventional medicine, to treat a wide range of conditions, physical, mental and emotional.
There are so many conditions that acupuncture can treat, either to manage something chronic or to provide a cure. This may be as an individual treatment or in conjunction with other therapies. Acupuncture is safe, especially in the hands of a fully qualified member of the British Acupuncture Council, and will not interfere with any ongoing medical treatments.

Rather than simply make a long list of ailments that acupuncture can treat, I have linked to the British Acupuncture Council’s research page and the World Health Organisation’s own review of acupuncture research. Although a decade old it provides extensive information on research and a summary of diseases and disorders that can be treated (p23 on). Click on the BAcC link or WHO logo above.
